1. Introduction

45 Degree Life Software, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the pic2DO mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using pic2DO, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
• Photos and images: Photos you capture or import into the App are stored locally on your device.
• Task content: Text notes, labels, and folder names you create within the App.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: App features used, session duration, crash reports, and performance data.
• Location data: If you grant location permission, we attach geolocation metadata to photos you capture. Location data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• Advertising identifiers: If you use the free tier of the App, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) and related data to serve relevant ads.

2.3 Notification Data

If you enable reminders, we store reminder schedules locally on your device using the operating system's notification system. No reminder data is transmitted to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App
• Authenticate your identity (Google Sign-In)
• Deliver local reminders and notifications you have scheduled
• Display advertisements on the free tier (via Google AdMob)
• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage

pic2DO is designed as a local-first application. Your photos, tasks, reminders, and folder data are stored on your device using a local database. We do not operate servers that store your personal content.

Exception: Google Sign-In authentication is handled by Google's servers. See Section 5.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

Google AdMob: If you use the free tier, AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. On iOS, you can opt out under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or toggle off ad personalization.

6. Children's Privacy

pic2DO is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@45deglife.com and we will delete that information promptly.

7. Your Rights

California Residents (CCPA)

• Right to Know: You may request information about the categories of personal data we collect and how we use it.
• Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to Opt Out: We do not sell personal information.
• Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

European Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@45deglife.com.

8. Data Retention

• Local app data (photos, tasks, reminders): Retained on your device until you delete the App or the specific content.
• Google account data: Managed by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Crash and diagnostic data: Retained for up to 90 days.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App itself does not use browser cookies. However, Google AdMob (used in the free tier) may use device identifiers and tracking technologies to serve and measure advertisements. On iOS, you can limit ad tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and reset your advertising identifier under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads to delete your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10a. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, to the extent required by applicable law. Notification will be sent to the email address associated with your account, or posted prominently on this page if individual notification is not possible.

11. International Data Transfers

pic2DO is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information collected through Google Sign-In or Google AdMob may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
